Terms of Service

These terms cover this website and the treatments we provide. By using the site or booking with us, you agree to them.

1. Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Estheva Spa, 1147 N Milwaukee Ave, Riverwoods, Illinois 60015. They apply alongside our Privacy Policy and any intake form and liability waiver you sign with us. If you do not agree to them, please do not use this website or book an appointment. We may update these terms, and the date above will change when we do.

2. What we provide

Estheva Spa offers facials, advanced skin treatments, brow and lash services, sugaring, waxing and nail services, performed by licensed professionals.

Our services are cosmetic and aesthetic. They are not medical treatment, they are not a diagnosis, and nothing we or this website tell you is medical advice. If you have a medical concern about your skin or your health, please see a doctor.

3. Who we can treat

Our services are intended for clients aged 18 and over. A client under 18 may be treated with the consent of a parent or guardian, at our discretion and for services we consider appropriate.

Some treatments are unsuitable during pregnancy, while taking certain medications, or with certain skin and medical conditions. We may decline a treatment if, in our professional judgement, it is not right for you. We may also decline service to anyone behaving in a way that is abusive or unsafe towards our staff or other clients.

4. Booking an appointment

Appointments can be booked through Vagaro or by calling 847-215-9440, and are subject to availability. We do not require a card to hold a booking. We try to accommodate requests for a particular member of our team but cannot guarantee it.

Please arrive on time. If you arrive late we may need to shorten your treatment so that the next guest is not kept waiting, or reschedule it.

5. Cancellations

We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or move an appointment, so the time can be offered to someone else. You can cancel through Vagaro or by calling us. Repeated late cancellations or missed appointments may affect our ability to take future bookings from you.

6. Intake form and consent

After booking, and before your treatment, you will be asked to complete an intake form and sign a liability waiver. These describe the treatment, its risks and side effects, and the aftercare involved.

You agree to give us accurate and complete information about your medical history, medications, allergies and previous treatments, and to follow the pre-care and aftercare instructions we give you. We are not responsible for outcomes caused by information you did not disclose, or by aftercare instructions not being followed.

7. Results

Results differ from person to person depending on skin type, condition, hormones, age, aftercare and the number of sessions completed. We do not guarantee any particular outcome, and the number of sessions needed cannot be predicted exactly.

The before-and-after photographs and client reviews shown on this site are of our own clients, published with their permission. They show what those individuals experienced and are not a promise of the same result for you.

8. Prices and payment

Payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash, check and card. Prices on this site are starting prices: the final cost depends on the area treated, the products used and the time required, and we will confirm it with you before we begin. Prices may change without notice. Illinois sales tax is added where it applies.

9. Gift cards and packages

Gift cards and treatment packages are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

10. Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Estheva Spa and its staff are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of this website or our services. Our total liability for any claim relating to a treatment will not exceed the amount you paid for that treatment. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, and some states do not allow certain limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

11. This website

The text, photographs and design of this site belong to Estheva Spa and may not be copied or reused without our permission. Product and brand names mentioned belong to their owners. You are welcome to link to us. Where we link out — to Vagaro, Instagram or Facebook — we are not responsible for those sites.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Any dispute will be handled by the state or federal courts for Lake County, Illinois. Before starting any legal proceeding, please contact us at esthevaspa7@gmail.com so we can try to resolve it directly.

13. If part of this does not hold

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.

14. The whole agreement

These terms, our Privacy Policy, and the intake form and liability waiver you sign make up the agreement between us about your treatments and your use of this site.
