Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Estheva Spa collects, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. It covers both this website and the records we keep as your spa.

1. Who we are

2. What this website collects

Only the email address you type into the newsletter form, and only if you choose to use it. This website has no analytics, no advertising trackers and no cookies. We do not log your IP address, build a profile of your visit, or track you across other sites.

The site stores one item in your browser: your choice of English or Russian, so the page opens in the language you picked last time. It stays on your device, is never sent to us, and clearing your browser data removes it.

3. What we collect as your spa

Before your first treatment we ask you to complete an intake form and a liability waiver. Depending on the service, these may ask for your name, telephone number, email address, date of birth, skin type and concerns, relevant medical history, allergies, medications and previous aesthetic treatments. We may also keep notes on the treatments you have received and the products used.

We collect this so we can treat you safely. Some treatments are unsuitable with certain conditions or medications, and we cannot know that unless you tell us.

4. How we use your information

To provide treatment safely. Your intake form, waiver and treatment notes let us choose the right service, avoid contraindications and pick up where we left off at your next visit.

To arrange appointments. We use your contact details to confirm bookings, send reminders, reschedule, and give you aftercare instructions.

To send news, if you asked for it. Only to addresses given through the newsletter form.

To meet legal and tax obligations where the law requires us to keep or produce records.

5. Who else sees it

We do not sell, rent or trade your information to anyone, for marketing or for anything else. It is shared only in these situations:

Vagaro is our booking system and is where appointments, client details and forms are held. Vagaro processes this on our behalf under its own privacy and security terms.

Netlify hosts this website and receives newsletter sign-ups. Google Fonts serves the typefaces the site uses. Neither receives your client records.

The law. If a court or government authority validly requires disclosure, we must comply.

A sale of the business. If Estheva Spa were ever sold or transferred, client records would transfer with it, and the terms of this policy would continue to apply.

6. How long we keep it

Client records are held in Vagaro for as long as you remain a client and afterwards for as long as we are required to keep them under Illinois law and for tax purposes. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. When information is no longer needed we delete it.

7. Security

Client records sit behind password-protected accounts in Vagaro rather than in an open file, and access is limited to the people who need it to do their work. This website is served over an encrypted connection. No system is completely secure, and we cannot promise otherwise. If you believe your information has been exposed, contact us straight away at esthevaspa7@gmail.com.

8. Your choices

You may ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct anything wrong, or ask us to delete it — except where we are required to keep it. You may unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any message, or by writing to us. Email esthevaspa7@gmail.com and we will respond.

9. Age

This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information online from anyone under 18. Treatments for a client under 18 require a parent or guardian to consent.

10. Other websites

When you click through to Vagaro, Instagram or Facebook you leave this site, and what happens there is covered by their policies, not ours.

11. Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
